This is the story of Emily (or M) Garmadon. Typical nine year olds play around with friends. M gets to be kidnapped by Samukai and his skeletons. Born without an elemental or the Golden Power, and trapped making tea for an evil mastermind, M had to grow up quick. Fast forward years later, she gets off her shift to discover her family and their friends thrown into this mess. Samukai has been waiting a long time to make his move, now with the ninja out of his way, he can conquer Ninjago. With rising tensions between her parents, Uncle Wu, and herself coming out into the open. M has to help them stop the skeleton army before it's too late.
