Somehow. They work together and would probably kill for each other if it came down to it, if they haven't already. So, when they finally get the chance to bring their father back, they jump on it. Though, neither of them realize just how big of an adventure this will be for them.

Sun Wukong x The Eighth Colored Immortal Maiden! Reader Summary: When the mother of Queen Mother of the west sends one of her colored coded maidens to inspect the fruits for the festival. She encounters a particular monkey who was giving her a hard time.

Rey had always been quiet, keeping to themself and never bothering anyone. The rare times they spoke up though, it had gotten them into deep, deep trouble. What made them think this time would be any different? When Rey goes missing, the Monkie Kid Crew waste no time to search for the Dragon, interrogating all their enemies and begging friends and family for help. But as weeks pass and with no clues, they start to suspect foul play. After all, it wasn't like Rey to just up and run away. Right? Disclaimer! This isn't canon to my current au, it's just a little "what if" scenario. It happens sometime after season 3 and between season 4. Everyone knows the story of the Monkey King and his exploits. The tale of his Journey To The Western Paradise with the Great Monk Tripitaka, The Celestial Swine Zhu Bajie, the river demon Sha Wujing or the Flowing Sand River, as well as the noble Ao Lie the Great White Dragon Horse and third dragon prince of the West Sea. It is a tale often told and very beloved, but what if there were 2 others on this Journey To The West? Not many realized that Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, was joined by his long time friend and sworn brother Liu Ér Mihou or The Six Eared Macaque. Not only him but a mysterious but beautiful maiden with the power to control Ice that many scholars call Lady Xueyuan. But that was not the maidens name and her abilities as well as origins were more unique since she's truly from the future. The maiden's true name was Y/N Julien and she was the Elemental Master of Ice and former Nindroid.

While y/n takes care of their mother whose suffering From a deadly illness she dies in her sleep leaving her child traumatized and mute. They wander the streets sleeping in alleys and stealing food to survive, not wanting to go into foster care. They try to steal from a noodle shop to get some food into themself, before getting caught and brought inside. This is the start of their journey of trauma and love. The Samadhi Fire, the Ultimate Wildfire was created by Redson, son of the notorious Demon Bull King and former Celestial Maiden Princess Iron Fan. When splitting the Samadhi Fire there were 4 pieces made instead of the intended 3. The 4th and final one was absorbed by Ao Lie, the Dragon Prince of the West Sea and was passed down to his Ancestor Mei Dragon. But what they didn't know was that the Samadhi fire was not a senseless flame but rather somewhat sentient. It was waiting patiently for it's True wielder, the Master Of Fire.
