I know it has been done a million times before but I couldn't find any Groffsauce fics where the OC was adopted by him. This story is about Lucy Williams escaping her abusive foster father and ending up in an alleyway next to the Richard Rogers theatre. And guess who finds her, none other than Jonathan fricking Groff. This is a fic with the OBC of Hamilton all still doing the show. I do not own the Hamilton musical and it's cast. I only own Lucy Williams and the plot. Similarities between this plot and others is purely coincidental. Hope you enjoy. (Apologies for my sh*t writing and how inaccurate it is with how adoption and fostering works)

She ends up sneaking away from her bodyguards, which she does often, and bumps into some of the cast, catching the eye of Daveed instantly, and she herself is smitten. But the only issue is she's still the president's daughter. How can the two start a relationship or even keep one? (AU kind of-as it's a made-up president)

The life of the golden trio was already a mess before they listened to Hamilton, but this was just icing on the cake. How will any of them ever pass the O.W.L.s, finish a musical, and deal with hopeless crushes to top it all off? Basically, Harry Potter meets Hamilton. The story is written as a musical, but the whole story is not written in song (I don't know how Lin managed it, lol). The song pattern matches the chapter topic. It starts off silly but becomes more serious later on. Oh, and Cedric and Dean are way more important than they were in the books/movies.
