The eyes are everywhere, no matter where you hide, they can see into even the smallest, darkest places... But the mainland is no place for a child who lacks sight, and so the Ferryman struck a deal with her. She was given a place to call home, a place hidden from sight and only known through whispered rumors. To live amongst monsters but away from sight, where little lost things like to hide. This was the promise made to young Kara, a mysterious girl lacking the ability to see. But this is only a small nuisance to her, as she has secrets of her own that easily replace her lost sight. Kara uses this to her advantage, to stay out of harm's way with her sister Mira, but what happens when her dear sister is whisked out of sight, the only light in her world leaving her alone in the darkness? Will she be able to work with what she has to find Mira and take her back? Or will her strange talent simply not be enough of a match for the Maw and its twisted inhabitants?
