After Virgil left the Dark Sides, a snake thought he was free from his bonds.. he was wrong. There was no escaping for a liar like him. -- Aka what do you get when you cross a mentally ill teen and some lovable characters with angst potential? You get a vent fic I put much effort into around a year ago. This is on hiatus until I find the passion to continue it. Cover art is mine.

I'm awful at descriptions, so here's a few facts about this book to give you a general idea of it. - All ships except RemRom welcome. - There will most likely be a mix of fluff and angst, but expect more fluff than angst, as that is what I'm better with. - Most of the ideas are AUs, so I'll have a little bar at the top with a description. - The upload schedule on this book will be so wack and off, so be prepared, if you read this.

No art is mine. Logan is a hardworking businessman with two close coworkers as friends and an excitable family-man younger brother. Virgil works from home and gets a little bored being alone most of the time. And then there's Patton - a little toddler that landed on their doorstep unexpectedly. He's cheery and happy but obviously has a story to tell. And he unravels Virgil and Logan's story too. ***** I got writers block on the last two chapters but I've been writing this since September so weekly chapter updates until Chapter 11 (unless I've written more by then) - SATURDAY UPDATES

Other's might simply say a difference in powers. Fire powers are weak to water and the like. But what if I told you it was nothing like that? What if I told you their true weakness is there own humanity? They may be villains but they still are human. They care for something or someone. Everyone does. Their own emotions cause moments of weakness in times where they need strength. Deception is an up and coming villain that no one knows anything about. He's strong and prideful. Everyone fears him and wants them on their side. Who doesn't want the strongest villain behind them? Cassidy Rhodes is shy awkward outsider in college. He has no clue what he wants from life. He has no idea where he goes from here. He's just going through life pushing through for no particular reason. These two people are polar opposites. Ones strong... the other is not. Ones confident and outgoing... the other not. One is taking what he wants in life... the other frozen in place. The thing is... there the same fucking person.

Our story begins at a dinner party hosted by a mysterious individual, simply referred to as Joan, where they admit to blackmailing their visitors. The guests, who have been given aliases, are Mr. Anxious, Princey, Mr. Brain, Professor Demented, Snake, and Col. Heart. When Joan turns up murdered, all are suspects, and together they try to figure out who the killer is. [PLEASE NOTE!: I tagged certain ships in this so it would be easier to find. I would like to point out that there is no explicit romantic content in this, it is all simply platonic. Also, there is mentions of murder, cause... you know... it's a murder mystery, so there's very mild descriptions of character death, but it's nothing too major. Sanders Sided one shots

Logan Croft is very familiar with the feeling of loneliness. He spends most of his time focusing on keeping his grades up, working towards the bright future his father has planned for him. In his free time, Logan lives another life in a VR Game called Paradise +, where you can be anyone you want to be. In this Virtual World, Logan is a traveller named Logic that assists people with their adventures. He is experienced with code and therefore is very skilled in the game. One day, Logan meets Deceit, a mercenary in the virtual world that basically does the opposite of what Logan does. While Logic helps people advance, Deceit will undo progress of a player if hired to by their enemies. For some reason, this mercenary seems to have taken an interest in Logic. Logan, of course, isn't sure he trusts the assassin. Will he be able to avoid Deceit, or will Deceit, one way or another, undo all his progress?

Logan has been having trouble with his emotions, especial towards a certain snake. His situation becomes worse when Morality says Janus is just messing with him and using him for something. Logic soon starts avoiding the other trait, believing Patton fully. Remus and Virgil learn about what is going on and know it's up to them to fix this mess. (In this au Patton didnt fully accept Janus, but Logan and Virgil did. Roman still dislikes Janus but Virgil is now on good terms with Remus and Janus.) Warnings: Unsympathetic/yandere Patton, sympathetic Remus, toxic Logicality?, maybe blood, Anqst. Ships: Dukxiety, Loceit. (Dont like? Dont read.)

Logan is tired of everything. He is tired of acting like nothing gets to him, he wants a break so desperately. But he knows if he claims he is a dark side Thomas won't listen to him and will probably get himself killed. There has to be a better way out of this..
