At the age of 23, Alberu Crossman, the crown prince of the Roan Kingdom and a concealed quarter dark elf, expected that his arranged marriage would quietly fade into the background. He believed he could wed this Cale Henituse, provide him with some financial support, and have him live peacefully in a secluded villa, far from the center of the political stage. He expected his future spouse to be no trouble at all, even though Cale's reputation branded him as a Trash. He was prepared to utilize this marriage as a stepping stone in the political arena while keeping his true identity hidden.
