I missed one teeny tiny detail. She is stuck inside for a whole of five days with the biggest jerk in her life. Jared Reed, he's the typical bad boy of the school and as usual has girls swooning over him and kissing his butt like anything. But not this girl. Or so she thought. When a lock-in at school forces opposite social groups to get along, Eternity Ravencross, an outcast, and Christian Jackson, a popular jock, find that not every rumor or piece of gossip about the other is true. After spending one night being kind to each other, they become close. As they become closer and start spending more and more time together, the rumors begin to fly and before long Eternity's mysterious past and lack of family comes into question. When disturbing facts come to light, Eternity is questioned and ridiculed. Christian steps up to defend her and refuses to back down, calling into question his own feelings for Eternity.

It has been a high school girl's dream of being the lead in the musical. Mary Barns is excited about the big audition day and had been preparing for two weeks on her song. But Britney Santiago, Mary's rival and popular girl, is also trying out for the lead as well. What happens when a sudden snowstorm traps them both inside. A simple game turns deadly when students are trapped at school during a lock in. One killer roams the halls, shooting people at his own pleasure. Jess and her friends must try to stop this killer before more end up dead... Maybe even themselves. Jess must also face various personal trials. She must decide between her life-long friend, and her worst enemy. In this game anyone could be the murderer, and you never know when the next gun shot will ring. It's Murder in the Dark.

It was just a regular senior lock-in when a mysterious being appeared to them and the school has to go on look down. When Lexie, Jenna, Abby, James (the gay best friend) and Annie try to figure out what is happening, something terrible happens to the students of Liberty high but there's a way out the mysterious situation.
