Madison could not go back to Hong Kong to see her family as she was too anxious to go on an aeroplane on her own but luckily she was able to stay at boarding school, having to be looked after by an evil guest houseparent who treated the poor girl as a slave. For camp NaNoWriMo in April I decided to write seven short stories each one set later in history and with an older main character than the one before. Some of these stories have worked very well I think and others less well but I'm offering then all here with only basic editing. 1. Hair the colour of the dawn - A story of Viking America based on an Icelandic saga seen from both a European and a native American point of view. 3. Undiscovered talents - In Victorian England a young woman finds that she can challenge men in a way that surprises them. 4. Love letters - Set in the present day a man makes a discovery in the aftermath of his father's funeral. 5. Neighbours - Millions of people live in one huge building but hardly ever see their neighbours. A chance meeting can change someone's life. 6. Running to stand still - On semi - terraformed Callisto you have to keep moving to stay under the Sun or the freezing night will catch you. 7. Rock of Ages - Billions of years from now the expanding Sun has nearly engulfed the Earth. Explorers look for a treasure left behind after the Exodus.

The world had come to a standstill. Streets were empty, doors remained shut, and people lived in isolation. But for Millie, solitude was nothing new. It was where she felt safest. Hmm par hum aapke saath kaise so sakte hai, (but how can I sleep with you..) you are a stranger...she proclaimed crossing her arms.. Hmm!! ik baar so jao, fir (let's sleep for once, then )we will not be strangers anymore..he said with a wink holding her by wrist dragging her beside him. ************************************ Well if you are here thinking it's a Fat Cindrella story then I would like to apologise at first... This is the story of Shivya a not so modern girl in this modern era... she is a girl with dreams desires family values strong morals and a lone heart.... well thinking about the reason ....you may consider it as her physique as she is overweight in her body appearance but was it actually that or her own mental self that never allowed her to accept herself....

In this book, I will try and put together the stories of real people from many places around the world into poems I've written during the Pandemic. Lockdown, a "blood thirsty killer", "sparkless (heartless)" they all say... He has a heart (spark) or so I think... Anyway... he kills any human or bots that dare cross his path, or just for fun. BUUUUT what happens when he can't kill someone he truly loves? Something he calls a pest, a nuisance. WILL HE? COULD HE? SHOULD HE????? Let's find out....shall we?

Lockdown obliges two office workers to ask: where or what is home, when you have to stay there? * The setting is a fictional version of the UK's East Midlands region. * I know that many people are having a really shit time at the moment, so I hope this is a way of acknowledging the current situation without being too heavy-handed, and maybe even cheers someone up. Although there is a potentially quite serious situation described, I hope the light way it's treated doesn't offend anyone, or imply that I'm not taking it seriously. I've tried to stay very conscious of the public health advice, as it was in the UK at the period covered. This basically came down to: Stay At Home (if you possibly can). Written May/June 2020

As you all may know, here in 2020, we are all on lockdown in the (dis)comfort of our own homes because IT'S A PANDEMIC. All across the world from Italy to the US to even Japan, mankind is getting annihilated/destroyed by COVID 19. This is 3 weeks overdue, but it's better late than never right.
