The purpose of the journal is to give readers a deeper understanding of Rendell Locke's character and backstory from the Netflix series, Locke and Key. Rendell is the patriarch of the Locke family who is tragically murdered in cold blood in front of his family. When the family moves back to Rendell's childhood home, they find out his history, and the history of their family, is far more mysterious than they could have ever imagined.

I should had listened to Rendell when he told me that Lucas was gone for good but I guess I was too stubborn to let him tell me that my brother was gone for good. this is my first story, so apologies if it's bad. I'm kinda using this as like a way to figure out what I want to write about and my writing style essentially, it's a locke AU about gabe and kinsey as I felt that the ending was a bit of a letdown in season 2, so this story is just kinda what I hoped happened. this story doesn't have SMUT so if that what your looking for this is not that type of story for you the first chapter start when kinsey finds out that gabe is Dodge and he's at the door Hope you enjoy :)
