"Talk about frightening page-turners! I kept reading chapter after chapter. I had to know what happens next! And trust me―the scares just keep on coming!" ―R.L. Stine, author of Goosebumps & Fear Street This thrilling debut, reminiscent of new fan favorites like One of Us Is Lying and the beloved classics by Agatha Christie, will leave readers guessing until the explosive ending. "Welcome to dinner, and again, congratulations on being selected. Now you must do the selecting." What do the queen bee, star athlete, valedictorian, stoner, loner, and music geek all have in common? They were all invited to a scholarship dinner, only to discover it's a trap. Someone has locked them into a room with a bomb, a syringe filled with poison, and a note saying they have an hour to pick someone to kill ... or else everyone dies. Amber Prescott is determined to get her classmates and herself out of the room alive, but that might be easier said than done. No one knows how they're all connected or who would want them dead. As they retrace the events over the past year that might have triggered their captor's ultimatum, it becomes clear that everyone is hiding something. And with the clock ticking down, confusion turns into fear, and fear morphs into panic as they race to answer the biggest question: Who will they choose to die?

George wakes up in a locked hospital room, handcuffed to a bed, with no memory of who he is or how he got there. The doctors say he was one of them - a respected psychiatrist who had some kind of breakdown. They show him photos. Tell him about a wife. A life. A past. But none of it feels real. As he tries to piece together what happened, strange things begin to happen. Voices through the vents. Flickers of memories that don't belong. A warning whispered in the dark: Don't trust the man in white. George doesn't know if he's losing his mind, being lied to, or waking up to a truth he was never meant to remember. This is a slow-burn psychological thriller about identity, memory, and how terrifying it can be to not know if you're the victim - or the one who caused it all.

I woke up in a room tied up. I could undo the ropes easily, they were certainly no Gordian knot. There's other people here, we're underground. Memories gone, some coming back. All I know is, that this is all going to hell. The traitors are winning. God help us. A/N: if this story is similar to anyone else's i do apologise but I didn't copy. This work is my creation and I would appreciate if it wasn't copied.

(Old/Cancelled) ***This Semi-Empty Room We're In*** Three guys are locked in a room, each with their own *ahem* colorful personalities, trying to figure out what's going on as they are apparently just... there. They spend their time either talking to each other or not. They don't seem to get hungry at all, nor have the urge to "drop the bomb" or "take a leak". But occasionally, they're given a note by the people outside, so that's a thing. Read and see how these three boys do and develop their relationship (as surviving is out of the question for they seem to do pretty well) with their wits, three chairs, and a table. Because anything can REALLY happen when boys are isolated with each other. ANYTHING. Have you seen Boku no Pico??? Also, do you think they'll figure out the reason why they're there? Would they be able to escape before something unknown, or worse, something too wierd, happens? Ranking ^-^ : #978 in Humor (11/20/16) #952 in Humor (12/7/16) #927 in Humor (5/6/17)

Artemis Fowl, the great criminal mastermind, or rather, former criminal mastermind, meets Edogawa Conan(or rather, Kudo Shinichi, detective). In a hotel at the heart of the bustling city of Singapore, a mysterious murder attempt on a strange victim. What will happen when these two brilliant minds meet in these circumstances? *This story takes place sometime before the Atlantis complex of the Artemis Fowl series and sometime before Conan meets Sera in Detective Conan. I may make references to certain events that happen in both series, but that is unlikely. Characters however, will be developed to the extent I have mentioned earlier, so it would be best if you at least read through to that part of both the book series and the manga/anime series. Leave me a comment, and tell me what you like or feel could be improved about my writing. Enjoy. :) [Companion guide available!!] *PS: This will be a mystery fan fic without much romance. Maybe about as much as Detective Conan.
