Inspired by the holocaust. Life is perfect for Humans in the 31st century. Beautiful sights, beautiful people, beautiful houses. And, yes; a lot has changed since the 21st century, most people now live in the sky, since the discovery of the ability to make flying houses, cars, streets, bikes. Shoes that allow you to hover, no matter if you're on a hover board or bike. Although however 'wonderful' these inventions may have been, you have to be in space to see so much as a single star. Yet nobody dares leave their planet anymore, as carelessly crossing too near another planet carelessly could lead to a war. You have all heard of star wars, right? Well, it's sort of like that, only, all these planets use to be countries on earth, and nobody ever leaves their planet except for those who work for the UPU- the Universal Protection Unit that take all criminals to the planet they base on, never to be heard of again. You see, no matter how beautiful people are, they always have a ugly side. No matter who you are, You will always be judged. No matter how well you hide it, people will always be homophobic, whether it's to protect their 'perfect society', or just themselves. No matter how much you do for a person, no matter your relations with them, one wrong move, and your taken to that disgusting planet, stuffed in a murky cell and chained to never leave. No matter how hard you try, there is no escape from the UPU. Sneak peak: "Mommy...who are they?" The little girl asks, tugging on the hem of her mothers favorite yellow dress. "They are good people, dear." With a shaky voice, the mother responds, smiling at the group of uniformed officers before her. Once more, her daughter speaks, curious as any five year old would be. "Then why are you crying?" The small girl looks at the officers before returning the hateful gaze or her mother with one of utmost confusion. "Because I gave birth to a monster." ~*~ My eyes snap up and I run towards the door hurriedly. I bang my fists against the door and try locating a door handle, but there is none. My eyes widen in panic. I try looking through the small slot bringing in the only light from outside of the room. I know that I'm screaming but at this point I don't have control over what comes out. The slot suddenly shuts. I keep banging on the door but it doesn't last long. My hands feel wet with the familiar substance coursing through my veins and I pass out. ~*~
