Jade Williams, a fourteen year old Police Officer in training, was very oblivious to the future. A horrible casualty-causing event has broken out and the people of Lucella are severely endangered. Jade thought this wouldn't affect her in any way. However, she was more wrong than ever. Finding a missing ten-year old boy by the name of Georgie became the Police Officers' number one priority as a case but Jade got caught in the middle of it. So, accompanied by a few friends, she sets off to find Georgie. But what would Jade do if every place she visited was a puzzle to get out of, endure horrible situations, encounter blood everywhere, see her friends die, hallucinate, and almost go insane? How would Jade know that she wouldn't fall prey to the Infected and fight for her survival? Melanie never saw it coming. Just finishing her freshamn year knowing nothing about love or boyfriends in that matter; knowing only how to stay hidden in her loner girl facade. Not having many friends she finds refuge with her two best friends Jessi and Sky. Why does she need their help? Well Mel is faced with her share of summer loving. Caught between two guys, a heartbreaking discovery, and all the summer camp drama inbetween. What will happen to Melanie's first summer fling? ( teehee that rhymed..... ^^)

This isn't a pride story. This isn't an awareness story. This isn't a story about being quiet or hiding. But it isn't about a closet either. It's what's inside the closet that matters. Or more specifically, who. Everyone has been in a closet at one point in their life. And it has nothing to do with being gay or trans or anything like that. It has to do with who we were, and who we become. Every teenager lands in a closet at their peak of adolescence and stay inside that closet until their peak of adulthood. We steps in as kids and step out as adults, and we live the closet behind. And when we grow up and have kids, we forget all about our closets. And we never know how to handle our kids once they enter theirs. But why don't we speak of the closet? Why do we have to be in that closet? What's it like in other people's closets? In order to find out, we need to knock on their doors. We need to break barriers.
