This is where I am finally creating my own Thomas AU, where I'll be talking about every location, every villain (both single and organization type), almost every character, and everything that I hated about what Mattel and HIT did to the iconic cartoon. And for the record, this is mostly inspired by Miked57s, as like him, I intend to detail everything that I hate about what HIT & Mattel did to the show, but unlike him, however, I do not intend to rant and rant on about it.

This is the beginning of a series called ENGINES: Old Tales of The Orchid Railway. Based off and inspired by TUGS and Thomas The Tank Engine. Focusing on a railway owned a sister and a brother and split the railway in half. they both also have their own two rival fleets called The Bright Fleet and The Lightning Fleet. The series will take place from the 1955 to 1981. Let's see what many tales this little railway has. Set a few days after "The New Engine" the engines are busy at work. But unfortunately, Oscar had been working all night. He gets told he needs a rest but he just doesn't and moves on to do some work. while this happens, he unknowingly causes a bunch of stuff to happen. let's see what he gets up to shall we? This has not been made to infringe on either Thomas or TUGS and is made for the soul purpose of being made as a nice set of stories.

A band trip to Amarillo, invited to play for and directed by a retired and amazing band director with the rest of your band members sounds amazing, right? Nothing could go wrong. Absolutely nothing. Not when the train is hijacked, not when people try and attack everyone else. No, nothing could ruin it. The cold weather that Mother Nature threw at us could take us all down. We were family, a band family, and nothing could take that away from us. Death nor hijackers, but maybe just finding out who everyone was in a life or death situation. Maybe that could change everyone, just maybe.... Warnings: Cursing (more will be added as this story progresses) This story was themed off of a band song made for a train chase during the early civil war. When listening to the recording, this story started to form and there, this magical story started. I will try my best to update this when I can, as I am having a bunch of fun with this. But I might also not have time to do a proper update for it. You all might never know. (This was also bloodier before I did a bigger change in the plot.)

Anyways, the new case they were given was about a train, rumors spread that anyone who goes on it disappear without a trace, and surprisingly, the tickets were given by the company who owns the train, Laer Tracks...the train itself is ancient, a locomotive that still works, it would be called The Steam Works. And what they discover are supernaturals, a murderer, and mysterious locations. This is going to be one hell of a train ride.

Asher the Norfolk & Western Class A 2-6-6-4 #1200 was the prototype Class A, which he and his brothers and sisters were built by the Norfolk & Western Railway's East End Shops in Roanoke, Virginia between 1936 and 1950. In 1955 after the N&W bought diesels, Asher battled for his Class and his other Class Cousins. After his battle failed and he heard he'll be retired, he escaped to Hagerstown, Maryland.
