Linh and her mother are inseparable. At least, that's what Linh thought, before her incomplete family completes itself and two long-lost family members barge into her life, changing the course of her days for as long as she lives. All of a sudden, her mother turns into someone she can hardly recognise, and she has to bear the new, unfamiliar burden of being a twin, being the second best child even though she and her twin brother should be equal. When one's life changes, they change too. Linh finds herself unable to control her emotions at time, and when her destiny becomes clear to her, she knows she has no choice but to try her best at the only dream she has: becoming the top scorer in the Foxfire Academy Entrance Examinations. But there are other things life throws in her way, and after everything changed that fateful night, nothing has ever been the same for Linh anymore. But what of Tam, the boy who faces as many problems as Linh does but keeps them hidden in the shadows? This is their story, and it's just the beginning for this dynamic duo.

in a kotlc human au, sophie foster is a new student at foxfire and hasn't made many friends or joined in any social activities. keefe is the most popular guy in school and is in the "it" couple with his girlfriend, biana. after being dumped, keefe has taken up a new bet to transform the new anti-social girl into a confident and stunning queen bee.

Sophie Foster thought life was hard enough as it was. She's lost her best friend, has the council and most of the Lost Cities against her, lost her human family, partly blamed herself for the Neverseen's attacks as well as Kenric's passing and Keefe's leaving. Now Prentice, the one who rather than reveal her identity, subjected himself to a restless coma, stripping himself of his humanity-- is awake. She doesn't know what to do. She CAN'T hurt anyone else. But the Neverseen won't allow that to happen will they?

This is a Keeper of the Lost Cities fanfiction that takes place right after Exile. I've read all of the books, but I didn't want to place it after Neverseen because Sophie's life is in too much danger then to make this work well. In this story, Sophie gets invited over to Everglen by Biana for a sleepover and Keefe gets invited by Fitz. Then when Sophie slips up and mentions a human game, all chaos breaks loose... --------------------- Please read, I hope to do a good job at it!
