She found herself eagerly anticipating their afternoons together, her heart fluttering at the thought of seeing him. One day, as the sun dipped low in the sky, Ben handed her his sketchbook. "I drew something for you," he said, his voice soft. Sophie opened the book to find a beautiful drawing of the two of them sitting together beneath the willow tree, her reading, and him sketching. At the bottom, he had written, "A perfect moment, made even better by you." She looked up to find him watching her, a hopeful look in his eyes. Without a word, she leaned in and kissed him, feeling his arms wrap around her. The willow tree seemed to sway with approval, its branches rustling in the breeze. From that day on, the tree was no longer just a sanctuary; it was the place where love had quietly blossomed. And every summer, Sophie and Ben returned, each year bringing them closer, their love as enduring as the old willow tree.
