After the events of Skyward Sword, instead of deciding to stay on the surface with Zelda, Link decides to stay in his birthplace, Skyloft. There, strange things start happening to the hero. After a perplexing dream, Link tries to find out the meaning behind the dream. What he finds, will change the Goddess's Chosen Hero forever.

On the day of the Wing Ceremony, you see Groose and his thugs throwing things at Link and his lolftwing. So, you decided to get yours and try to keep it fair. Until something goes horribly, horribly wrong.

It's the day of the Wing Ceremony as Link wakes from his nightmare of a monster of late Zelda sends him a letter to meet her at the Statue of the Goddess Hylia...

You finally get your first Loftwing, how well does it turn out?

"My dear knight you shall watch over your successor and protect him until his time comes. T-thank you, Link, my brave hero." Oo•oO Link groaned and stretched, raising his arms above his head. "Wait...arms?" he thought as he glanced down at himself noticing the red plumage had disappeared. He laughed thinking that he must be dreaming and shook his head. The man scanned his surroundings unnerved to find it unrecognizable. These trees didn't look like the ones in Faron woods. They were closer together and darker in color. When he turned his gaze to the ground on his right, he was surprised to find his kid laying there. The child he watched grow into the hero he was supposed to be.

For those of you without the Zelda Historia, I am putting the Original Link's story here, but if you want the original, you have to buy the Historia and flip to the back.

(Y/n) is just an ordinary girl who attends Skyloft's Knight Academy. However, after the Wing ceremony, things get a bit odd. She starts having dreams about a great mission, Loftwings are acting nervous, and an ominous feeling lurks in the air. Something's about to happen.. and it's going to be big.

Based upon The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword's universe with multiple tweaks (see Logic, Ch. 1) Long, long ago, a valiant knight of old unlocked the doors to the long-forgotten Surface, but not all was well and good. The inhabitants of Skyloft were forbidden to dive below the barrier until they were knights of the highest skill, in order to vanquish the great evils that still lay below. One bright summer's morning many years later, on the very first day of August, a mother Loftwing found a crying chick abandoned on a ledge in the middle of nowhere. What could she do but raise it amongst her own? So she did. Gael has three siblings. He has a loving mother and father. He even has an unusual connection with his partner. But times change, and maybe not all is quite as it seems for the scruffy young Loftwing. What does that mad old bird in the Thunderhead mean, exactly, when he claims to know his past? Time is forever flowing, and there is no way to control its all-powerful might pulling the very strings of life, death, birth, and rebirth. The difference between the mature and immature is recognising this change and, ultimately, accepting it.

In the first book of the Skyward saga, the story takes place in an alternate history of Skyward Sword, in which peace is everlasting and the Demon King, nor Ghirahim, are non-existent. The boy, Link, does not exist either, for without evil, there is no need for a hero. Skyloft is peaceful, but that does not mean it is boring. A popular activity in Skyloft is Loftwing racing, and young Arin, a 14 year old boy, has always been excited and entranced by this sport. But even at his age, no Loftwing has come to the boy. So when one day, a brilliant Crimson Loftwing appears before Arin, his career as an experienced Loftwing racer is about to begin!

SS Link x Reader I don't show Skyward Sword much love, but it is an underappreciated gem in the Zelda world. Here's a little one shot since that's my schtick lately. Link has gone to the surface to rescue Zelda, along with Groose. Life on Skyloft continues its mundane pulse as you continue your diligence with knight training. As you try to get a grip on missing a certain knight and his presence on Skyloft, you're bombarded by a mysterious trail of feathers. Immediantly after the Great Calamity was brought to an end, the hylian champion Link had gone into hiding to avoid the questions on everyone around him. After a month in solitude, Link begins to feel trapped and eventually planned out a way to take his own life. However, the day of his final plans, the Princess calls him to the castle for an emergency, having discovered something truly horrific lying within the catacombs of the Castle. (This Fic was originally something different, but after the first trailer for the Sequel, I had to write out my suspicions and theories.)
