In a quiet suburb, warm-hearted therapist Patton Sanders opens his home to five troubled foster kids. As he helps them heal from their pasts, they slowly begin to form the unlikeliest kind of family: the kind you pick up along the way.

Logan and Virgil are in their late twenties and are married with their cat Remy. Logan's also a high school teacher named Mr Crofters. He develops a bond with two of his students - Roman and Remus Ray-Feliz - and therefore their two younger brothers Patton and Emile. Through their love Logan and his husband eventually adopt the boys and become fathers. Janus is also a sassy English/Drama teacher. This book was originally available on my AO3. After the original book is one-shots in the same AU.

One introvert plus one extrovert and a quarantine order forcing them to stay in an apartment for a unknown amount of time is a recipe for disaster. Or so Virgil thinks. He's a quiet college student who lives an apartment close to campus because he rather not risk random placement. When his friend is looking for another roommate he gracefully accepts. After almost two years of living with the same people, he has some strong opinions. One of those is how much he dislikes Roman. Now he's stuck with him in a three bedroom apartment and he doesn't even have the buffers there to prevent arguments. After a few weeks, though is he truly feeling the same way? Has he always hated Roman or was he just trying to avoid his actual feelings about his roommate? *This is a AU that has to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic and the quarantine situation, it won't have anything too bad about the disease but it will have mentions of it. They are also in college so there might be adult situations and mentions of alcohol. I got this idea by listening to Crutch by Set It Off and wanted to make it cute so enjoy it* Currently editing to correct any mistakes in spelling I may have missed before :)

Patton is really good at painting and Virgil is really good at the guitar, and they both love these hobbies. Patton knows Virgil can play the guitar and Virgil knows Patton can paint, but the other two don't. But after a while, the other two do find out eventually and love them for it. [COMPLETED] Roman Feu is about as normal as you can get. Well, y'know, for someone who has average grades, an annoying little brother, and one of the lead roles in the school musical. But yes, apart from that, he's normal. Janus Mensonge, on the other hand, is a lot more...closeted. He sticks to himself and is known in the smaller circles of school as the makeup and chemistry whiz. And even /that/ group of people is small. But when Janus ends up working backstage a few weeks before opening night, the two quickly become fast friends. Just friends. Nothing more. Besides, they're both completely, totally, one-hundred-percent straight.
