As the sled gradually came to a stop Jonas could hear a faint noise. It sounded almost like a plane. He turned his head, but all he could see was snow. The noise grew louder as Jonas pulled his sled up the hill. Gabe pointed a small finger towards the empty field of snow behind them. "Plane, plane!" the young boy said. Jonas's heart dropped. There was no way, it was not possible. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Starts after the first book ends. NOTE: This is my version of The Giver Epilogue. I wrote it a while ago for school assignment and decided to continue writing it. The Giver is an amazing book and I read it in class. My teacher gave us this assignment and I really had fun with it. Hope you like it!

Must have read The Giver by Lois Lowry for a better understanding. This is something I wrote as a school activity for my reading class and I got a good grade so I thought what the heck why not put it here on Wattpad. Jonas's world is perfect. Everything is under control. There is no war, fear, or pain. There are no choices. Every person is assigned a role in the community. When Jonas turns twelve he is singled out to receive special training from an old man known as The Giver. The Giver alone holds the memories of the ture pain and pleasure of life. Now it's time for Jonas to receive the truth. There is no turning back. As The Giver transfers the memories, Jonas discovers the disturbing truths about his utopian world. This science fiction novel by 1994 Newbery Medal winner Lois Lowry captivated millions of readers. However, many people were frustrated with the ending as they were often left with unanswered questions. What really happened? The ending of The Giver has been interpreted in two different ways. Perhaps Jonas is remembering his Christmas memory - one of the most beautiful that The Giver gave him - as he and Gabriel are freezing to death, falling into a dreamlike coma in the snow. Or perhaps Jonas does hear music and, with his special vision, is able to perceive the warm house where people are waiting to greet him.

I have yet to find a preference and imagine book for The Giver by Lois Lowry. I recently read this book, and it is an amazing book. So I decided to write a book. I hope you all enjoy this book. And thanks for reading this.

It's such a good book.. "Angelchild number 27. Alexander." The namer announced. The next angel unit flew onto the stage, the crowed cheered. The tiny baby peeked out into the world, opening his eyes only to see two unfamiliar faces looking down at him. The baby's shiny, crystal, blue eyes shocked the couple, for they have never seen eyes quite like the child's. "H-His eyes.." the woman began. "They're so different.." the father continued. "He's a fallen one, that's why."
