Takes place before and during the first part of Thor. What happens when you make a deal with the Trickster himself? Lily Glen, a young mortal girl, did just that when she was 16. For the past 6 years, she has worked for Loki, service demanded by her life pledge to him. Over the years, Lily, now named Feyre, learns the workings of his twisted mind, as well as how to tame them. When she is finally trained to be a Valkyrie and earns her wings, Loki disappears. She must find him and discover what he's up to. Along the way, she learns grows in her emotions and abilities. She thinks that maybe...just once...she can live happily ever after. Before Hela, that is. Read on to get in the whole story, as well as my personal ideas and inspiration for this short book. (Characters of Norse deities and Mavel Cinematic characters and references are not owned by me. This is just a fan fiction, and not canon, nor will it ever be canon. Thor and Loki found out right after you were created and decided it would be best if they took you from S.H.E.I.L.D. because no child should be raised as a weapon. The two brought you to Asgard to be raised along with your half siblings Hela (Loki's Daughter Goddess of Fire) and Torunn (Thors Daughter Goddess of Rain). You are always neglected. What happens when both of your parents favor their other children over you since they are older and heir to the throne (Like Loki was)? I know mythology is wrong only have it to make story better. What will happen when it finally does?

Late nights balling my eyes out aren't as rare as they should...more like a ritual at this point! But that night was different, breathing was painful as always but I no longer tried, clawing at my chest didn't stop the pressure that kept building and my vision was blurry with tears. To tell you how bad I was, on my way home from work I was no longer able to keep that everlasting smile and please everyone, I just stared deep into space praying my tears would hold until I got home. Curled up on the ground my back resting against the wall, unable to get any farther. My first day meeting the new boss had been a nightmare in all posible ways, I only prayed to disappear from this universe and go somewhere I could feel safe... Apparently my prayer got answered because upon opening my eyes I was no longer at home, familiar voices calling me.
