Loki wasn't always evil. Ten years before he tried to take over the Earth, things were going better than they usually are for him. He had found someone who actually loved him, Eira Raulsdatter, a Lady of Asgard who saw him as a nice person with good intentions. They soon had a child on the way, but with no explanation, when the child was born Odin stole it from the pair, and cast it off to Earth. All Loki saw was black hair and green eyes, he didn't even know if his kid was a girl or boy. Winter S. Edwards is a troublemaker. Everything she does is a prank or a trick or something bad. The administration at her school is dying to catch her red-handed, but whenever something goes wrong, she's in class or so they think. When the news alerts her of a villain from another world trying to take over the planet, she's interested. Partially because Loki's cool, he reminds him of her, but also because she thinks she could do it better and would like to tell him so herself. Disclaimer: Doesn't follow all of TDW plot line. As Loki sat there doing what he thought he was supposed to be doing he heard Mobius say "Just let time pass." He felt tears rolling down his cheeks because even though this was what he was supposed to do to save everyone, to save the TVA, to save Mobius, even if that meant living his life sitting here on his godly throne, all alone. He didn't know how long he sat there, time seemed endless here both fast and slow because nothing really ever changed so it gave Loki time to think. He thought a lot about what Sylvie asked him, what did he want? Loki had spent so long being angry at the world and the hand he dealt in it but after getting arrested by the TVA and going through everything that he's been through, he finally cared about something other than himself, he cared about the TVA but mostly he cared about Mobius. That man had seen something in Loki that no one had ever seen in him not even himself, hope. He didn't just care about Mobius, he loved him more than he had ever loved anything in his life. So he couldn't continue to just sit here, he needed to find Mobius and tell him how he felt before Mobius moved on without him.

This is a short story based on the album Atlas by The Score, depicting the death of the Valkyrie. I felt that the Valkarie needed some recognition, and so, I have installed them in the great death of the world as we know it, Ragnarok. In this short, dark depiction of the face-off between the monsters and the heroes, fear, and exhilaration run high.
