With the Helicarrier damaged and surveillance offline, SHIELD sends a valuable "asset" to guard Loki in the interim: a young woman who sees the truth in all things, and cannot lie. Even long presumed dead, her memories lost to her, Loki would know her anywhere. And this changes things. Three years after the Incident, Loki reappears on Earth to fulfil a promise. The Avengers prepare for another war, but some of them begin to realise that Loki's plans are not what they assumed- and there are far worse things waiting beyond the stars. Meanwhile, the Ancient One has made a dangerous gamble, and Stephen is starting to see the stakes unfold. Takes place before and during the first part of Thor. What happens when you make a deal with the Trickster himself? Lily Glen, a young mortal girl, did just that when she was 16. For the past 6 years, she has worked for Loki, service demanded by her life pledge to him. Over the years, Lily, now named Feyre, learns the workings of his twisted mind, as well as how to tame them. When she is finally trained to be a Valkyrie and earns her wings, Loki disappears. She must find him and discover what he's up to. Along the way, she learns grows in her emotions and abilities. She thinks that maybe...just once...she can live happily ever after. Before Hela, that is. Read on to get in the whole story, as well as my personal ideas and inspiration for this short book. Annabelle gets tangled up with the wrong crowd in an attempt to get off the streets and finally find a home. She is rescued by the Avengers and becomes part of the team and catches the eye of a certain reformed God of Mischief and Lies. Anna finds information about her past that she struggles to comprehend. Peace throughout the nine realms is threatened by a Goddess thought to only exist in legend and folklore. The team find themselves battling forces even the Norse God's themselves thought were fairy tales. Slow burner story. This story takes place in my own time line so it's not restricted or heavily influenced by the movies. I'm hoping this will give my story telling more freedom. This is my first fan fic. Loki x Original Character Alannah Jones was just five years old when she was taken away by HYDRA. It was close to twenty years later when they experimented on her. Thanks to cyro freeze she was still five years old when they started. By time she was 17, she had telekinesis and the power to inflict horrible pain on others. Alannah was training with Wanda and Petro Maxamoff when the HYDRA base was attacked by the Avengers. After some bumps in the road, the three of them teamed up with the heroes to take down some killer robots. Petro, Alannah's best friend and brother in everything but blood, died in the final battle, and she is left lost and confused. A few weeks afterward, Loki Odinson was proved innocent and allowed to return to earth with his brother Thor. Lannah, (the name her new teammates have taken to calling her) doesn't know what to think of the newest member. How long will it take the two of them to see that they really aren't that different, and that sometimes pain and mischief are more connected than most people believe. Cover art is not mine. This literary haven is lovingly presided over by Lili Morningstar, a dreamer with a penchant for books and a heart that hums to its own melody. Every morning, like clockwork-or perhaps like a spell-Lili meanders down bustling streets to a tiny Italian café tucked snugly between the towering buildings. There, as sunlight peeks shyly through the windows, she savors delicate pastries that crumble just so and sips coffee that could warm the iciest of souls. It is her sanctuary, her routine, her quiet little slice of joy. But what Lili doesn't know is that she isn't the only one enchanted by this unassuming café. In a shadowed corner, with an air of mystery as thick as the foam on his cappuccino, sits a figure like no other. He is a God of mischief, his eyes gleaming with something between curiosity and mischief. Drawn not by the tiramisu (though it is excellent) but by the peculiar and inexplicable pull of Lili herself, he watches. And perhaps, just perhaps, destiny watches back with a sly smile and a twinkle in its eye. Warning ⚠️ A bit of swearing but nothing to bad.
