This story is about Ash, no not pokemon Ash, but Ash the young adult with high capacity and even higher anxiety. Of course, this isn't exactly the best cocktail for someone that somehow finds themselves inside of the Marvel universe, where all her life long idols are. She freaks out every ten seconds to say the least, everything is just so exciting and the more she feels like an idiot! She is proud though of how well she deals with a certain God of mischief, how well in the sense she isn't passing out like she expected herse to. She isn't blurting out stupid things either...well at least not too much Loki on the other hamd seems pretty taken on the small mortal and finds her reactions to be adorable. He's also grown into the habit of protecting her without her knowing.

Every lie and half-truth I'd told tonight was about him. I'd hidden away from my friends for weeks because of my secrets. "Are you embarrassed by me, Y/n?" I looked down at the floor. Was I embarrassed to be close to the world's greatest villain of our time? I didn't know. Because I refuse to kneel to some scary jerk with a big stick! No way! Oh crap, I was the only one left standing. I looked around nervously. What am I doing? I spotted Cath giving me a terrified look like, Get down here right now, you idiot! But I refused to back down. Okay, no other option. Time to be a stupid teen, I thought frantically. "No," I said quietly, my eyes wide and muscles tense. I tried to suppress my scared tone, but I had a feeling I didn't sound very brave. I'm so dead I'm so dead! The man's eyes speared into my gut. I couldn't stop myself from trembling, but I tried desperately not to make it too obvious. "What?" he hissed with enough venom in his tone to scare a rattlesnake. Tears collected in the corner of my eyes, and a cold feeling started to make its way through my stomach and hands. "I. Said. No," I managed to get out. His eyes narrowed. A jolt of terror ran through me. What's he going to do? Slowly, like a lion that cornered its prey, he stepped towards me. The voices in my head rose to a crescendo, warring in my brain as he reached a pale, long-fingered hand for my head. I tried to run, to scream, to hit him, to do anything to stop him from doing whatever he was about to do, but my body was petrified by the tendrils of terror running through it.
