Nightmares and dreams haunt her, drenched in sadness and longing. She lies awake, wide awake, and she thinks of her husband. She misses him terribly, missing every minute of each day that passes without him by her side. Every night when she closes her eyes and lets herself fall into slumber, his name is the first one that comes to mind. The dead cannot be brought back to life. But perhaps, someday, she'll find the strength to forgive him for abandoning her, forsaking the gods for her. Perhaps, sometime tomorrow or the day after that, the gods will be merciful enough to make his promise come true. "I'll wait for you," she whispers. "And find you, where ever you are, even if it was another universe, even if it were another lifetime..." She smiles sadly to herself in her bed, "...you will always be my love." She waits for him day and night, every moment she sleeps is torture. Her heart aches. Her blood boils. She wants nothing more than for them both to return together. The worst part about living every day alone is that the emptiness is always there, waiting for him, craving his touch.

The smell of fresh wine and mead floats through every street as the morning palace glimmers in the reflection of the sun. Asgard is home to many people. There are the Asgardian folk (swordsmiths, bakers, carpenters, etc), there is Heimdall; the watchman of the Gods, and of course the Gods themselves; Odin the AllFather, Thor the god of thunder and Loki the god of mischief. They were mighty of course but this story isn't about them. No, it's about a young Asgardian girl with a normal life...or so she thought. HI GUYS! On their journey, Loki meets an Asgardian girl called Sigyn that's been away from Asgard wreaking havoc across the universe. Thor: The Dark World doesn't happen.

For centuries, Frigga sent invitations to the Jotuns, as a sign of peace and friendship... However, one day, they sent a positive reply, and their most precious treasure...

It's just a normal interaction between the nymph goddess and the two sons of Odin. hints of LokixOC!Sigyn.

Princess Sigyn is being forced to marry a Prince she has never met before. Arranged marriages are never known to turn out particularly well, and Sigyn is sure that hers will be no exception. When she meets Loki, her husband-to-be, he doesn't seem to want any part in the marriage. Can they warm up to each other, or will they spend their time together living separate lives?
