I am a little scared, hiding even from myself, Some pain rests on my eyelids, some words are buried within me. Silence has become my language, And on my smile, an old story has been written. My heart wishes to scream, but my voice feels stuck, The one I loved has long gone, and memories seem covered in dust. I can neither cry freely, nor laugh openly now, I just live each day, like someone lifeless somehow. Maybe one day someone will come, like light in my eyes, And say - "I am here, you can live again with life in your sighs."

ආදරණීය වස්සානය ඔබට මට, අප සියල්ලන් ම ජීවිතයේ ආදරය අත්විඳ ඇත්තෙමු, අත් විඳින්නෙමු. ආදරය සොඳුරුය. විඳින්නන් අතර ආදරය විඳවන්නන් ද බොහෝ ය. එකම කැදැල්ලක එක්ව දුටු සිහිනය සැබෑවක් කරගත්තන් අතර සිහිනය සිහිනයක්ව ම වී මග රැදී ඉන්නවුන් බොහෝය. ආදරයේ මිහිරියාව මෙන්ම අමිහිරිය ද වේ. හැම හදකම එක් කොනක ආදරයක ආදරණීය මතකයක් වේ. ආදරය ජීවිතය ට එකතු කරන දෑ බොහෝ ය. අප සිත රැඳෙනුයේ එහි සුන්දරම මතකයන් ය. ජීවිතය ජීවත් කරවන ආදරය හඳුනා ගත්තේ නම් ආදරය විඳවීමක් නොවන්නේ ය. එය සැබෑම විඳීමකි. ජීවිතය ට හුස්ම පොවන්නකි. සුන්දරම මතක දෙන උල්පතකි. එහෙව් ආදරයක්, සුන්දර ආදරයක් හමු වූ තැන ජීවිතය වසන්තයකි. ආදරණීය වස්සානය, ආදරය විඳින විඳවන සොඳුරු හදවත් වලට ස්නේහයෙන් අකුරු කරමි.
