Sadie was just an ordinary junior girl, who never went on a date, never kissed let alone had sex with a guy. She was however, one of the prettiest girls in school. Everyone admired here, but she never even noticed. Every boy in school had a crush on her, but she was too focused on her education and getting a scholarship into Harvard University. One new boy shows up, and she makes her first friend, who dramatically changes her life. What happens next in "The Lonely Road"

This poem entails the journey that everybody seems to be going through silently, that keeps them thinking a lot, which how they are being described as the young man in the poem. It goes on further to explain the road he is heading is only waiting for his downfall, full of misery and despair and no one will be there to save him, which is why the people he was with, left him all alone, having only himself to fill the void but it seems quite impossible for his mental health to be on point especially today's society.
