Longtail finds himself developing feelings for the "kittypet pretending to be Warrior" after the revelation that Tigerclaw, the power hungry Deputy, was a murderer conspiring to kill Bluestar. Longtail finds he's been to judgemental of Fireheart, and accidentally gets closer to the ginger cat. Meanwhile, Fireheart struggles to find himself trusting Longtail again, but at the same time is drawn to him.

Imagine what the first series of Warriors would be like, is seen from Swiftpaw's point of view. Firestar's joining, Yellowfang, the kidnapping of Frostfur'a kits, Tigerstar' betrayal, Bluestar's madness and discrimination against Tigerclaw's former friends, The dog pack..... NOTE: I shall try my level best not to deviate from the story in the book, and though I will add my own scenes, I will try not to change the scenes and dialogue given in the actual book.

-Second book of my first one; Warriors: Bloodshed. Read the first one to know about what has happened so far.- With Fireheart witnessing what his little sister has become, he now fears that he will see her when Tigerstar brings what they call themselves, "BloodClan". With each passing moment, Bluestar becomes frailer as it will soon be his time to lead ThunderClan. Now called Savage, she has already been taken noticed in BloodClan and the area as weaker cats fear her more than Scourge as some of them have seen her odd powers and her bloodlust. Even Bone and Brick say that she has more chances in defeating the Clan cats than Scourge although they've known him longer. Savage has been flying through the ranks after she had returned from the Clans after fighting with the ThunderClan cats which left Bluestar, Fireheart, Mousefur, Whitestorm, Darkstripe, Dustpelt, Longtail and Sandstorm badly injured as they slowly recover. As a mysterious tabby cat comes to BloodClan's alleyways, Savage is told to stay hidden as Scourge does not want him to recognize her and star up a fight as they want the forest he describes. Savage becomes angry as she knows it's Tigerstar and that she wants to prove to him that she can and will kill him after he humiliated her and beat her up. Though Scourge feels the same as he too was beaten up by him when he was an apprentice, he knows that this cat will not remember him. With Tigerstar's plan to have the dogs take ThunderClan down fail, the Clans become more wary as they all start to notice his oddness and soon they find out as he makes Leopardstar and RiverClan join with ShadowClan to make TigerClan. Both prophecies of "Blood will rule the forest" and "An evil's dark wrath will not cease". As Fireheart becomes Firestar, leader of ThunderClan, he now faces the ultimate threat of not Tigerstar or Scourge, but his sister.

You couldn't believe it, he's been stalking you all this time and no one knew. Not only that but the way he speaks makes you believe that one day, he might actually kill you. What will happen when you are forced to join Bloodclan? "What's wrong with you?" spat the dark tabby warrior. "Why are you always keeping an eye on that pesky little kittypet?" Longtail twitched his torn ear, which was from the young Firepaw when he first arrived in ThunderClan. "Er... I just... want to discover his weaknesses," Longtail bluffed awkwardly. Darkstripe's piercing yellow eyes narrowed until they were barely slits, as if he could read Longtail's thoughts, and he snarled, "That's not it at all, is it?" "What?! No... no! That's it! Honest!" Longtail snapped, forcing himself to look aggressive. His icy blue eyes burned like a cold fire, but behind them he knew that Darkstripe was right. He didn't watch Firepaw to 'discover his weaknesses.' It was more complicated, and if he told the dark tabby, then it would make him look weak. He loved the young kittypet, but he hated himself for doing such a foul thing.
