Livia Sivan knew her best friend Gualtieri Mascolo as soon as she was born. Gualtieri, or as people call him, Gal, is Livia's mother's best friend's son. The two were very inseparable and you'd barely see them alone or apart except the time when Gal and his family needed to migrate to Italy. Still after that, distance didn't ruin their friendship apart. They would still call each other everyday on the phone or write letters, telling each other stories about what's happening in their lives. But then they got to high school and they both became busy and their conversations started to fade. So years passed by and their communication with each other completely broke down and they went on with their own lives. Soon, Gal's mother went back for a quick vacation and she would always be at Livia's house or spending time with Livia's family, especially her mother. And when Gal's mom went back to Italy, Livia's mother started telling Livia stories about Gal that Gal's mother told her about and likewise. Weeks after Gal's mom left, Livia received a friend request on Facebook from Gal and since then, they started talking with each other again. Another year passed, Gal and his family went back for his father's business trip and that's where their friendship began to blossom again.
