Short thing I wrote a while back. It makes more sense if you have played oot and mm, and have vague knowledge of the Hero's Shade. I haven't played tp though, so it should make sense if you haven't. It's kind of a theory thing of what logically would have happened to him between mm and tp. It's also pretty depressing. It's sorta zelink but also rly not, and it's sorta malonlink but also kinda not either. If it's too depressing, I'm going to write a happy post-oot thing at some point too, so don't worry! Rated T for implicit themes, but nothing graphic nor descriptive (I'm not about that life). Also trigger warning: deals with depression and suicide

After a long week at school, Namida and her friends decide to have a game night. They had all been playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on their DS's for a couple weeks and were all about to defeat Ganondorf. After Namida, Naku, Kurushimu, Itami, and Anriaru defeat Ganon, they are very happy. They celebrate by eating lots of junk food,watching anime and starting the master quest. Namida starts it first as the rest hover over her shoulder to watch. But all of a sudden, the game glitches out and they see garbled speech in the speech box. They hear Navi scream along with Link. Namida thinks the DS is old and they all shrug it off. After watching an anime movie they fall asleep and THEY'RE IN THE GAME?! Namida and her friends are stuck saving Hyrule, as their only ticket back to reality!

As a child you were moved from your home and sent to live at Lon Lon Ranch. One night a boy named Link saves your life and you fall in love with him as a consequence; but then he disappears for 7 years, leaving you in despair. In that time you move back home - only to once again meet with the boy dressed in green; but will you still hold the love for him that you did 7 years ago?

Maybe it's self-inflicted, maybe it's all in his head, but the fact of the matter is that he is nervous. He wants to ask her - he wants to ask her so badly - but can he find the Courage he needs to utter those four simple words that have the power to change their lives forever? This is a fan of of Link, the Hero of Time, and Malon. It is written in Malon's pov almost exclusively. It centers around friendship, trauma, maturity and eventually true and lasting connection. Link struggles with having such an older soul in a child's body, keeping the adult experiences in OoT mostly to himself and how his trip to Termina broke his mind a little (didn't we all break from MM a little?) I love the idea of a relatively normal and incandescently happy life for Link and Malon. I obviously don't own any of these characters, etc. credit to Nintendo.
