A duo years in the making. After Hawkins lab was shut down (season 2) Joyce is re adjusting to living back at home with Will. Hopper has been nothing short of amazing, always there for the Byers. It was finally going to be their turn, but after a night out, Lonnie shows up screwing up Hoppers plans. Joyce isn't sure how to handle the situation, but all she knows is she can't deny her growing feelings for the police chief any longer.

This takes place after season 3 but before the first murders started in season 4 if that makes sense

Joyce Byers, the anxiety ridden mother of Will Byers, the Zombie Boy of Hawkins, and the weird Jonathan Byers. The town has labeled her crazy, even when she proved her son was alive. She's the not so average citizen. But what makes Joyce so above average?

Will is the new kid in town and the topic of the school newspaper along with the peculiar "Bear Attacks." As he tries to get used to his new highschool he's at an unexpected crossroad with a mysterious boy who almost seems to be irritated by him. Along with school his home life isn't the greatest. As Will is on his journey of self discovery he observes many strange events play out and tries to put the pieces together. Are the things going on in Indiana Hawkins supernatural or just unexplained coincidences? Okay so there might be some lies... Will Byers has a lot of secrets. In this au his dad is still around but he's never told anyone what he does, though he's told a bit to Mike. Will is really struggling but he hasn't told anyone, He doesn't want anyone to worry. Will people find out?

This isn't just based on romance stories but also platonic ones especially like I love doing a series on found family and way more than just ships and things I imagine happen off screen that they never included like I value will and els sibling dynamic as well like I love the sibling duos they have and just some things that would make sense to me since I'm hyper fixated on the show and have some many skits and ideas to come up with on it like in my opinion argyle was underrated character that we should've seen more of

After a long and grueling friendship of secret one-sided love, William Byers is ready to give up on Mike as Mike finally begins to discover his true feelings. However, Will is soon taken into custody by his father, Lonnie, and is taken far away from Hawkins. Mike must come to terms with his own emotions and find his best friend. Can they survive together or get burnt by love? I hate to say that I have stopped writing this fic of Wattpad and have moved to A03 where I am currently rewriting it. I would love it if you read my retelling there! I would like to say though, if you want an incomplete ending, the first part is finished here. My story on A03 is the same title and Authors Name as on here. Love to see you there! Edit--4/10/24 I had taken this fic down for a while and spontaneously decided to put it back up. I wrote this at a very different point in my life and am not necessarily planning on returning to this story on A03 or Wattpad, however, the first section is complete and has a semi-definitive ending.
