The continent is divided between powerful nations whose alliances and rivalries have shaped centuries of war and peace. Among them stand three great powers: Ylisse, a peaceful kingdom devoted to the divine dragon Naga. Ferox, a warrior nation where strength and honor determine leadership. Plegia, a harsh desert empire where the cult of the Grimleal seeks to revive the Fell Dragon. Though the continent has known long stretches of quiet, history here rarely sleeps for long.

Grima has been defeated. The Shepherds return home with those they forged bonds with during the harrowing ordeal. The time for war is past - now is a time for love to prosper and bloom. But love itself is not an act without a struggle.

(The cover and title are still in progress) "I demand ample space, woman!" He glared at you, coldly. "Y-yes sir." You replied, weakly. There was no point in arguing. The truth was, you were both scared of the other. He was strong, tall and gruff. Just looking at him made you shiver. His ice cold glares were enough to scare even the toughest of men. -*-*-*-*- Some people live in the past, some live in the present and for some, even the future. You lived in the past, forever haunted by your thoughts about that one day. So when Chrom, leader of the Ylissean shepherds found you in that field, you instantly became anxious. You felt like you couldn't trust men, all because of him. But as the team (whom you decided to stick with) push on, you realise someone feels the same, just for the opposite gender. Lon'qu, the well known gynophobe. But after saving you from a near fatale wound, what if you developed feelings for each other? Was that even possible? And why must it be so vexing?

"Ke'ri, Ke'ri." Is Lon'qu still stuck in the past or can he move on to the present where someone is waiting for him?

Cherche joins the Sheperds after the Valmese invasion of her homeland, bringing with her a certain diary holding the answers to the nightmares of an intriguing black-haired swordsman.

This is based on the game, character wise. There will be spoilers to the end of the game, due to it being somewhat similar, but only in the ending.

So this is something I have started over one year ago, meaning I will propably edit it soon. Anyway, enjoy! :D I don´t own Fire Emblem Awakening or any of its used characters, names or elements. I only own this story and my own characters. Cover not by me. Ruth had always dreamed. Dreamed about mastering the art of sword fighting. Dreamed about leaving her hometown. Dreamed about staying by her best friends side. But never about the flames that consumed her life within only a few hours, and the bandits that came with them. Never about the death of her best friend, or the loss of her freedom and everything else she had treasured. But when she crosses paths with a group of elite fighters, known as the shepherds, under the lead of a Prince and an unknown tactician, her life takes yet another turn. But sometimes turns are just not enough to forget the past....

I'm just going to be writing short stories about my favorite FE:A couples. Don't mind me! (No, seriously, I might die of embarrassment.)
