Maybe that sounds like I'm losing my faith, but I assure I'm not. Still, I can't help but think this is Karma for the pure hell humans have caused. Yet, the one's suffering the most are the ones who did nothing wrong. Isn't that funny how that all works? People are losing their morals and very humanity, and it's sick to see. I can understand the looting and killing the Infected, but I believe people are using the apocalypse to show their evils. Children left for dead and regular humans getting killed for territory. What territory? We've already lost. Some of these people are so sick and depraved I won't even write it here. But may God do as He'll please with their souls. Amari keeps clawing at the basement door. I will save my daughter if it kills me, for this is my fault. Saving her and everyone will be my retribution for the part I had to play in the bodies piling up outside. I will fix my sins. - Nadine Smith

While they were lost in their moment of rage and chaos, a loud bang came directly from the gate. At first, they didn't even hear it. Only Kodan stilled in his pacing steps. His palm melted tighter to the the screen modem. Then, he searched 360° through the lenses of the outdoor mounted cameras, the invaders were yet to be seen. At this point, he knew, there was no better way but to inform his family and activate plans B. With his eyes widened in shock and his heart thumping ferociously in his rib cage, he turned to face the people he had done everything to protect. Just as he turned to face them, Veronica was standing just an inch away from him, bumping into his trembling body. He gasped and almost fell in this own steps. She grabbed him and searched his horror filled eyes. "Talk to me!" She pulled him closer to her bosom. The heavy deep sigh that came from his lungs was enough to tell her that trouble has come knocking.
