One of the early days in Cigazzati, Lyra wants to know how specters were created and even though she doesn't want to use the alethiometer she really wants to know. Also before anyone comes after me: Ok I know this doesn't make any sense as specters are created by the subtle knife opening a window. This is just for the story don't hate me. Maybe Morgana had something like the subtle knife from her magic who knows? Maybe Excalibur can act like the subtle knife, so if Excalibur can cut between worlds, it was forged with the dragons breath later like Mordred's sword and this dagger. So for any of this shit to make sense that's the logic for the fanfic before any one comes for me. Just think that Dragons breath- subtle knife like. maybe the creators of the subtle knife were Dragonlords..? (Obviously some more from his Dark Materials has been completely put to the side for this FanFiction to work and if you don't like that you don't have to read it but don't come complaining to me I have done certain things purposely so the story makes sense) crossover between Merlin BBC and His Dark Materials which is also on BBC. If you've only watched one, go watch the other one. if you've never heard of Merlin there's a scene in the beginning of season 4 episode 1 where Morgana does the same thing Asriel did to Roger but with her sister that's for context but seriously go watch Merlin!
