This story is an alternative to Lord of Shadows. Set after Cassandra Clare's Lord of Shadows so there will be a major spoliers for that in this summary, and in this story. If you haven't yet read Lord of Shadows (I recomend you do btw) DON'T KEEP READING :). The Shadowworld is in Chaos after the mortal sword broke. The consequences are so dire as to effect even Shadowhunters in Australia. However, there are rumors of another artifact that might have similar properties, and it is located in Australia. But, no one knows exaclty what it is capable of and it seems to have negative affects on Downworlders. This story follows the Shadowhunters of the Sydney Institute and their experiences with this artifact.

Emma and Julian get married because I need this closure in my life. There is some smut at the end. And spoilers from the Dark Artifices.
