Richie, Beverly and Bill have a million and one things they want to do over the summer break. One of the many things is to finally get Richie to ask out his crush he's had since freshman year: Eddie Kaspbrack. Eddie, Stanley, Mike and Ben want to have a quiet summer after a year full of stress, but Eddie gets a DM from Richie Tozier asking Eddie and his friends to join their summer shenanigans. Little does Richie know, Eddie has been crushing on him since middle school.

When a young girl and her best friends speed half there summer trying to defeat a killer clown. Derry, Maine has always been a strange place. Hey, this is the first fanfic I've written, so I'm sorry if it's clunky, but I've tried my best :) This fan fic follows mostly richie and eddie after the losers club has defeated IT the first time and its mostly just them hanging out and flirting etc and enjoying their summer with the rest of the Losers. A modern-day 2026 IT gender-swap AU focused primarily on high-school drama, rivalry, jealousy, character development, secrets, and personal lives, with elements inspired by Mean Girls. The story takes place during a period when Pennywise is asleep, meaning Pennywise isn't an active presence in the story and won't be waking up for a long time. This allows the story to focus almost entirely on the characters themselves rather than supernatural horror. The story still contains many recognizable IT canon details, but those details are gender-swapped, altered, and adapted to fit this version of Derry.
