In my opinion, Darrel Curtis - Ponyboy's oldest brother - is one of the most interesting characters of the book "The Outsiders" (although I love how every single character is unique and complex). That's why I rewrote chapter 3 from his perspective! I hope it matches your idea of his personality. Of course the original book belongs to Susan E. Hinton!!

After the tragedy of her parents death, Lynnette Warren had everything in control. She had the perfect grades and the best organizational skills anyone could dream of. Even though her long term best friend would try to derail her, she wouldn't let anyone let her loose sense of her control. That was until one morning she had a dream. In this dream she was in love with an amazing guy and the dream turned swiftly into a nightmare, where this love was murdered right before her eyes. She tried to let the dream go and go back to her routine, but on the way to class she runs into a boy who looks exactly like the one in her dream. Isaac came out of Scott's bathroom to find the other wolf dropping not only books, but expletives as well. Chelsea must admit that this imperious woman makes her want to run away and hide every time, but something about Cassandra's sullen nature, intimidating aura, and indubitably dangerous hobbies magnetically pulls her in. Will these two find comfort in their discrepancy?
