For hundreds of years the strange but magical world of Bariand has not seen war. Sure there's conflict, terrible events, and crime, but such is common for a world that runs far from perfect and is inhabited by species who some still do not accept others. Kit Sullivan is a 17 year old Inkling who has been traveling alone for weeks now. Their people have been living on the outskirts of civilization for decades now, but recently the people have fallen under slavery, and have slowly started to die off, both by terrible living and work conditions, and being deliberately killed. Kit has desperately been looking help, but all outsiders so far have been aggressive or scared, and refuse to lend their aid to Kit. Now Kit lurks among the shadows, still on the lookout for someone, anyone who could help Kit and their people. One day Kit runs into two young creatures, both very different species from one another but appear to be the bestest of friends. Perhaps they are the ones who could lend Kit a hand in his quest, or at least point him in the right direction. Hadar Rivas is a 28 year old creature of an unknown species thought to have disappeared years ago. He is the representative of the people who rule a faraway island, and has traveled over seas in search for aid. There is a terrible plague floating around the island, slowly killing the land and any life on it. The people thought they could handle it, but as time went on it only got worse, and if they do not receive outside help, the land will die and the people will end up actually extinct. But will the outside world finding out these creatures still existence make them all the more willing to help?

Can you imagine yourself playing a losing game? Hindi ba't parang ang sakit naman kung ganoon?

Well this is based on the true events of my life. Am I in the wrong with what happened in the end or is he? Or was whatever happened just meant to have happened? Anyway I'm curious. Did this ruin our very close bond or are we now going to be closer than ever before.
