A book full of poetry truly from my heart. I love poetry its passion and play with words. How the words flow. they are all amazing either sadness, anger, love, and happiness so here are some random poems from me.

I wrote this poem at the end of 2013, pouring out my thoughts onto paper. 'In the Light, another poem I have posted, is in a way the sequel poem of this, containing more brighter and positive notes than 'In the Dark', which I wrote to attempt bring a brighter outlook into my life, when I was fighting through darker days. I found this again just recently and thought it was worth sharing. Enjoy. (:

It's been three years since Dylan's trial. Amelia has been coping with the outcome ever since. Alex has been super supportive and helped her in anyway he can. She's working part time, to help pay for her college courses online this summer. Everything is about to change, as she decides what classes she's taking, and how she's going to juggle being a mom and girlfriend. Just as things start looking up, they all fall apart again. These are simply short stories I've been working on to help improve my writing. There are ideas that usually pops into my mind when the world goes silent. The start of them might be dark sometimes but there will almost always be a happy ending.

He made her feel like the only girl in the room... until he found another room. They met in the spring and what started out as a joke of three ponytails and a shared playlist - turned into a series of long texts, hidden glances, and what seemed to be love. Until he disappeared. Now, he's back, and everything feels like its blooming into place again - but autumn always comes. All this told through a sequence of raw diary entries, constant "poetic' sidetracks, and memories that ache, this story is an exploration of what it means to be the girl before the girlfriend - and how to slowly find yourself again after someone almost loved you. Spring Before Autumn is the story of heartbreak, healing, and everything that was left unsaid.

Moving halfway across the country, just to become an apprentice for a publishing company, especially fresh out of college, might sound a bit crazy to people. Not to Emily Anne, though. To her, it's a road to success, a road to her dreams. All she wants to become is an author, can becoming an apprentice help her? And will she find love along the way?

They ask her what she fears most, and she says "heights." But the truth lives quieter- in the dust on her brushes, the fading fire in her hands, and the art that no longer feels like hers. Between the weight of chores, the pull of duty, and the ache of a dream slipping away, this is her confession.

This short story is about being in love and the factors that come with it. How far are you willing to go? As to revenge.

Old friends fade, trust breaks, and the version of himself he once knew starts to disappear. The more he gains, the more alone he feels-and the harder it gets to admit that maybe, just maybe, he was happier before it all
