It's all so funny to Alex. He laughs wherever he goes. But he's not happy. No, he's sad. He's lost everyone he ever had, and in find one person who he might be able to keep, he tries desperately to keep her safe. How long will he be able to laugh though, until he even has no fake joy left? Warnings: could be triggering, do not read if possibly triggered by death, despair, or faking emotions. And if triggered by these things, or anything else, read something happy, and try to be for once. You might just find life to be good. It's sometimes funny like that...

What would you do if you were abused? Would you stay and take it or run and never look back? If you stay you constantly get hurt and are constantly in danger, but you still have a home and a very small amount of safety and assurance. Yet, if you run you can put everything behind you and become safer, but you have to give up everything so you don't get found and you're too young to move out. This is the decision I have to make and I think I finally made it.
