Darrion reflects on turning 13 and his first year of high school. He remembers looking forward to the eighth grade until his last day of summer vacation when a phone call changed everything, and he loses a part of his innocence.

Dreams are wonderful things. You can do almost anything in them. Nightmares, on the other hand, are horrors in themselves.

A child, born into a world he initially loved, experiences the joys of life before gradually facing its harsh realities. As he grows, he encounters academic struggles, isolation, and betrayal, leading to a deep sense of despair. In search for his sister (Jessica) who went missing on a family outing, Haiden still hasn't gave up on her, unlike everyone else, even though it has been eight years now! I've written a little of it already on another site called storywrite, but that was quite a while back and I never got around to finishing it.
