Giving up what I thought I'd never lose

Four friends. One unforgettable summer. A mistake they can't undo. It should have been simple: laugh, party, and forget. But someone died. Now, secrets, lies, and fear follow them everywhere. Memories lay fractured like fragile glass across the floor. Memories that shall not be looked upon nor touched for the fear of being pricked. These fractured pieces are a dangerous thing, for their nature is innocent yet over time can be so deadly. For once a memory loses it touch, the beholder no longer cherishes it as they once had, or the owner has begun to forget, it becomes fainted. Then it shatters. Behind it, nothing but sadness and anger is left to stay.
