This is a sequel to the episode "Frame of Mind." Following his failed undercover mission on Tilonus IV, Commander Riker returns to the Enterprise. There, he struggles with the psychological aftermath of his captivity and the manipulation of his mind, which makes him question reality. With the support of his friends, and especially Deanna's, he tries to find his place on the ship and realign his goals while grappling with the invisible scars of his experiences. Will he succeed, or will there be an unexpected turn of events?
