Lost-world Stories

This is a short story about a newlywed couple on what they thought was their honeymoon. Unfortunately, their cruise ship ended up a whole lot farther away than the Caribbean isle of Aruba.

It's Sci-Fi Smackdown time again and our great host Ooorah has promised that it will be the most epic contest yet. This is the collection of my submissions - it will include all six rounds. The sub-genres are: Lost World, Alternate History, BardPunk, Super Human & Spy-Fi.

Aura Renders was a normal thirteen-year-old living in London with her family. She was the example of an average teenager. Boring school, one best friend , one annoying twelve year old brother etc. One day when she was going to school she saw something so shocking that she was left bewildered. Just after that one incident her whole life changed. She came to know that she had been living in a world full of lies. The real world-her world was hidden into such depths that no ordinary human could find it. Surprisingly, she wasn't an ordinary human being. She was a Zanthian- beings with power so extraordinary that they might have been considered as fictional. But the truth is bitter. Will Aura be able to face the truth or will she run a way? Will she be able to find about her past which had been hidden from her for so many years? Will she be able to move on once she finds the truth?
