Things i've written in the throws of grief. Chronicling the things i'm feeling and the ways i'm healing from this loss because i never want to forget any part of the way this has impacted me. Lost someone i loved December 2022, someone who was my best friend for years. We parted ways when we went down different paths. I never stopped loving her. I have thought about her constantly since we parted. Addiction sucks, and it's a disease that is incredibly difficult to fight. She was struggling through sobriety for 3 years. She and i could not be close anymore if i wanted to fix my own life, and it breaks my heart everyday that I was able to leave that life behind me but that it meant leaving her there.
