not sure what it's meant to be about but have a read.

So this started off as a book where I would vent about the things I hate in life, but then I realized I shouldn't always focus on the bad. In this "book" there will be a lot of negative emotions, but I will try to remember that sometimes I don't always feel bad. There is good in life too.

Poems are a way of expressing what one feels of and about different relationships or things in her/his surrounding. It helps the writer offload the feelings while engaging the reader through the words.

Flash forward twenty-thirty years in the future after the boys were rescued from the island. We get to see Ralph, who is now married and lives on a cliff above a beach in Melbourne, Australia. He suffers from PTSD and has to take pills from going insane. This involves him also having imaginations and nightmares of what happened on the island. He sees his friend Piggy quite often. He wakes up and sees Piggy one day, and it won't be the last time he sees Piggy. **We read the novel "Lord of the Flies" in English II Honors. Personally, I disliked the book. However, we had to essentially write a "Chapter 13" as to how the boys come back into civilization and how their lives are affected after the island. I'm pretty proud as to how I ended the novel and I cried a bit while re-reading it, to be fairly honest. I hope you all enjoy it, and if you have any questions, please ask me on my social media! A poem about someone who was once deeply close but slowly turned into a stranger - and the strength it takes to let go and move on.

I couldn't hold her. I couldn't understand her. I couldn't keep her. I miss her. Every fucking day I miss her. I can't handle it.
