Wanting a break from society, a young girl takes a hike with a group. As the get deeper in the forest, the protagonist gets lost. In search of the group, she stumbles further into the wood until she comes across a mysterious figure.

Teaming up with Pitaya Dragon, Fire Spirit is being paid to play the part of a prince captured by the dragon, in hopes that the King and Queen of the Hollyberry Kingdom will send a warrior dumb or weak enough to be manipulated into escorting him into the palace walls. This plague creates cloud-like bruises that slowly grow, and can eventually turn the victim into a monster. She currently lives at the Temple of Living Water where she undergoes daily treatment. Most of the people that get this plague never get cured, but find ways to manage and delay the symptoms. Only a very rare few get fully cured. Magda soon discovers that she has a more advanced form of the plague. Everyday she's closer to becoming a monster than ever. As Magda finishes high school and contemplates a future where she's almost certain to become something she's afraid of, she has to wonder, what kind of future does she really have when she might have to die so that everyone else can live?

It wasn't supposed to be this way. When Ash told her his plan about burning their village to the ground and building it up, she had her doubts, but Ash had never been wrong before. Who was to say he'd be wrong now? So she helped him burn it down while everyone else was away at the Gathering, even though she knew they'd get in trouble as the two who were supposed to be watching over the village. But they'd come back, and now they were all burned with the village. Ash, ironically, also burned. Leaving her all alone. She was walking, remembering the stories of people who used to visit from another village in the direction that the sun rose, just praying to nothing in particular that she'd be saved by someone or something, anything. Even seeing death as a way of escape. Until she meets a strange boy who refuses to tell his name. He only shows up at night, which is odd, but even stranger is that he never speaks and she never asks him for anything, yet he knows what she needs... and how she can get it. But when she asks for the one thing she wants, his answer will send chills down your spine...
