Some frequencies are meant to remain dead air. It is October 1998, and Arlo Banks is suffocating in a purgatory of yellowed plastic, stale marijuana smoke, and the claustrophobic sub-basements of Channel 8. As a night-shift archival assistant and a functional burnout, Arlo escapes his mundane reality by abusing heavy strains of marijuana and diving deep into early internet lore and urban legends. When his passive-aggressive manager writes him up for unauthorized napping, Arlo retaliates by raiding a condemned sub-basement and stealing a sealed box of VHS tapes. He hopes to unearth a profitable piece of lost media to boost his reputation on the message boards. Instead, he brings home a biological puppet. The tapes contain The Happy Hollows, a rumored "Holy Grail" of lost media. But the broadcast does not stay on the screen. The footage begins to mimic Arlo's reality on a delay-a delay that is rapidly shortening. Arlo initially relies on the "Stoner Defense," rationalizing the bizarre events as weed-induced paranoia, hallucinations, or an elaborate prank. But the physical world begins to rot. His environment mutates into a tactile nightmare of "Damp Plush". Glass softens into gelatin , blood thickens into strawberry preserves , and human flesh takes on the texture of distressed velvet. Hunted through infinitely stretching hallways by a towering mascot named Uncle Corduroy and a swarm of Clay-Kin, Arlo must navigate the collapsing boundary between reality and the broadcast. He has to sever the signal before the frequency overtakes him entirely, transforming his own anatomy into polyester stuffing and rusted wire.

So let's jump right in and get into the media! update (7/31/24): holy meatballs i have not made one of these in centuries... should I continue this series? lemme know.

An old Sonic games compilation I bought recently on eBay, the game isn't really called like that (the game doesn't have a name at all), but that's the name the article was sold so I decided to call this (Blog? Book? Idk) like that. The point is that I decided to buy it to see what's up with this game, luckily it doesn't seem to be a scam (yet) because the game was delivered without much delay. Why am I making this book? To keep some notes on it so that other people can check my discoveries if they're interested on this, maybe this could be a new case of lost media? A fanfiction based on the lost cartoon pilot Cecile and Her Very Own Universe. Cecile is a 12 year old girl who lives underground in the sprawling city of Metro. Everyone is digging to the center of the planet by the orders of The Grand Emperor. However, Cecile wonders why this is...and more importantly why no one is allowed on the surface.

The year is 1986. 16 year old Anne Barnes has never been the type to socialize. Her only friend is a boy named James Clark who seems to think the same, as the two feel as if they are tortured by a group of girls at school. After fleeing from a party and away from a prank gone wrong, the two flee to the hills where they find a cassette tape that was failed to be buried. The two take it and later listen to a song together, but what they don't realized is that they have jinxed themselves into a dangerous game that will forever make them question everything about their world and what is reality from fantasy.

Animal Crossing was originally a lot darker is a story about the darker side of the Animal Crossing franchise, particularly in its early iterations as Nintendo tried to use the franchise to connect to an older audience before canceling those plans and moving forward with a more family-oriented approach. [This is my first ever attempt at writing something like a creepypasta, and I would appreciate any feedback you have!]

This is a story I wrote around when I was 9 years old. I'm writing and publishing what's left of the story here for personal achieving purposes. (Also, there will be misspellings, but I will add when I meant in parentheses.)
