This is a short story that I wrote for a contest on writingbattle.com. I was inspired by Bram Stoker's Dracula (the 90's movie mostly [and really just the part when Dracula told Lucy 'I have crossed oceans of time to find you'],) and by Vampire Hunter D. My prompts for the story were Vampirical Romance, Jail Cell, and Loner. I really like a lot of the prose in this story, if I can toot my own horn.
