This is fanfiction inspired by the current c-drama, 'Lost You Forever.' It's the same story, but still not the same. It is a shot at "what could have been" and a try to fill the void of Xiang Liu's tragic ending in the series. It's an attempt to bring comfort to those who were left heartbroken at the end of the drama. This story contains spoilers, but also a lot of detail has been changed that doesn't match the original story. As said, it is fanfiction and uses references from the original. If you give this story a chance, you won't regret it. You don't need to watch the drama. This story is complete in itself. I haven't read the original novel written by Tong Hua and do not have cultural knowledge, so there might be some things that are not right or I couldn't find during research. But as it is a fantasy story, I let my imagination be. I hope you enjoy reading it and ignore its faults :)

This story is a 'Lost you forever' Fan Fiction written for The Fandom Family Awards 2023. Lost you forever is a Xianxia fantasy Chinese television show based on the novel of the same name. Xiang Liu is a nine headed serpent demon who with his spirit strength has attained human form. He is the General of Chenrong army. Most fear him, few respect him, but none love him. Presently living as the second son of Fangfeng family, Fangfeng Bei, he spends time with Xiao Yao, a free spirited princess who has had a rough past which includes Xiang Liu. Posing as Fangfeng Bei, Xiang Liu teaches archery to Xiao Yao as an excuse to stay close to her in order to keep an eye on her maternal brother, Cang Xuan. But there is a heartbreaking secret Xiang Liu harbours. Torn between his duty towards Chenrong, and the woman who he has given his heart to, the demon is destined for a life of endlessly waiting for a woman who can never be his. Will Xiang Liu's wait ever end? or will Xiao Yao choose another over the demon, breaking the latter's heart and pushing him to his death? Start date: 29th August, 2023

Xiang LIu has become Fangfeng Bei, as per his promise to the real Fangfeng Bei. He has learned about the parent-child relationship, and now wants to bring his love for Xiao Yao, Great Princess of Haoling, out into the open. But not before he completes a responsibility to the Chenrong army. Once that is done, he goes home to find the woman he shares his heart with.
