While on a job in the Outer Rim searching for a bounty, Najewe - a former Jedi padawan who was taken in by Mandalorians after Order 66 - runs into a certain group of Rebels on their own mission. She quickly learns that she and a member of this group have shared history, some going back to their home world of Lothal. When given the opportunity to join their group, will Najewe chose to stay with this new found family and fight the regime that took so much from her? They find each other after the crash, and get help from a young girl, she brings them to her village. Who is this girl and how does she know Ezra? What do the crew discover about Ezra's past? Kanan in this story meets Ezra in an unexpected turn of events and not with the others. When the empire shoots down the ghost, Kanan falls off and the others are taken to a prison facility on the other side of lothal. Never having been on lothal before or on the streets with no supplies he meets Ezra, a street smart kid who knows lothal better than anyone. With Ezra's help Kanan makes his way to the other side of lothal and makes a surprising relationship.

Barriss Offee betrayed the Jedi, destroyed numerous lives and spoke out publicly to both the senate and the courts, ultimately leading to the departure of Ahsoka Tano, something that Barriss had never wanted. Regretting everything that happened that day, she trails off as the council gives her one final chance to prove herself.
