When a forgotten Jedi master from Order 66, Thalia Flair, returns from a unpremeditated journey and saves the rebels during a routine mission from the Inquisitor, Kanan jumps on the chance to have her teach him and Ezra. Kanan also tries persistently to persuade Thalia to join them, but she declines. However, when the Inquisitor introduces the gang to an old enemy, tempers flare and a new battle has begun. Now, will Thalia's feelings change and join the rebels or will she leave them? Aboard The Ghost, the night after Kanan and Ezra went to Fort Anaxes, everyone begins to notice a change in behavior in Ezra. He begins to split from the rebels and hides something important from Kanan. Hera and Sabine return to Lothal to inspect Ezra's old hideout and find something that explains what happened to Ezra's parents. After the crew dropped off Tseebo, his head piece was removed and Chopper and Zeb decode the information and learn all the secrets of the Empire. The leadership of the team falls with General Syndulla of the Rebellion. Sabine is determined to find her friend and is going to do whatever it takes to find Ezra Bridger.

"The Search for Hope" is a continuation of the epilogue from Star Wars Rebels, and follows Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren in their quest to find Ezra Bridger, whose last known location was aboard Grand Admiral Thrawn's Star Destroyer, the Chimaera, in the skies of his homeworld Lothal. ------- Sabine smiled as they shared a brief, yet warm embrace. "It's been a while," she replied. "It certainly has," Ahsoka agreed. They let go of each other and sat back down in their seats. "So, where do we even begin?" Sabine asked. "I've been thinking, and I believe I've found a suitable starting point," Ahsoka grabbed the holocron off of the console and opened it. Sabine's eyes widened, "The Imperial Palace?" Her tone was unpleasantly shocked and her eyebrows furrowed as she shifted her vision to Ahsoka. "Why are we traveling to the Core? Shouldn't we be heading to explore the Unknown Regions?" she asked. "When Rex calculated every star chart along his trajectory that day, all of them led in that direction." "And that's exactly why we're returning to Coruscant. There's a vital piece of information we must acquire if we're going to even attempt to access that portion of the galaxy." Sabine shook her head in disapproval, "But after the fall of the Republic, the Emperor stripped away any remnant of the old Jedi Temple and converted it into his palace. What happens if the information you're looking for isn't even there?" "The information I seek is stored in more places than one. I believe that if we can access the Imperial data vault, we can extract what we need." Ahsoka pointed to a quadrant of the temple that became highlighted in red. "Look, even if the data you're looking for is at the palace, what about the Imperial security? There's bound to be loyalists lurking in every corridor. How will we get around them?" When the ghost crew decides to leave the rebellion, they live a peaceful life on Lothal. This is book 3 in my Angel series, it's not necessarily needed in the story, it's just kind of a follow up. I got the idea from the Mandalorian series on Disney+, where she just kind of jumps around to different planets and stuff. When the empire shoots down the ghost, Kanan falls off and the others are taken to a prison facility on the other side of lothal. Never having been on lothal before or on the streets with no supplies he meets Ezra, a street smart kid who knows lothal better than anyone. With Ezra's help Kanan makes his way to the other side of lothal and makes a surprising relationship.

THE GHOST CREW are on a supply run to Lothal, and they may get more than they asked for. TROUBLE PRYCE is a 14-year-old-girl who lives anywhere she has room. After her parents abandoned her for the Empire, she scrounges and steals to survive in Lothal's capital, and can't keep her thoughts off the Boy Who Disappeared.
