Aaliyah is an Elf from Lothlórien and is the protege of the powerful wizard, Gandalf and good friend of Lady Galadriel. She is sent to Mirkwood by Gandalf to warn King Thranduil of the coming dangers and that 13 Dwarves will soon come and that they must be granted passage through Mirkwood. Thranduil is outraged by the fact that such a young elleth (compared to him) would dare tell him the "false" fate of Mirkwood's elves. What will become of her? An important question to ask when your guard is Prince Legolas himself.

After hiding from her past, a former citizen of Mirkwood unwillingly returns to find her old city on the edge of chaos. Thranduil fights for loyalty as whispers of a rising challenger float through his ranks. How will the young king manage with his realm at the brink of a civil war? Will they be able to help each other overcome their evils? Slight AU.

A year before the time The Hobbit is supposed to take place, Elven-King Thranduil and his son Legolas as well as companions from Mirkwood come to Lothlóthrien. During their stay there, Thranduil and Legolas meet the youngest daughter of Lord Elrond, Celebwen. She was the last child Elrond and his wife had before she left for the Undying Lands. Celebwen, who looks more like Galadriel than her own mother, quickly wins the heart of the Elven prince, but many years pass before he meets her again in Rivendell. By this time, Celebwen has become an expert at spying many of their enemies as well as looking after the safety of friends and brings her information to her father who circles the news to other Elven Kingdoms. After the Fellowship leaves Rivendell, Celebwen travels with them to bring news to Lord Celeborn and Lady Galadriel. Owing to Gandalf's unseen death, Galadriel decides to send Celebwen along with the Fellowship, completing the nine members once more. But with the Breaking of the Fellowship and it's members scattered, Celebwen tries her uttermost to bring them back together again. And so the hopes and dreams of some of the members become second-place as the more important need of destroying the Ring takes center focus. Only time will tell what happens next. Enjoy! How would The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings characters lives be in a modern human setting? Kíli does not know what he wants to do after university. His family encourages him to accept the invitation from Lothlórien Shooting Academy. He thrives at the Academy as his eye falls on a certain red haired lady, Tauriel Greenwood. But while the two young adults are attracted towards each other, their families who run the Oakenshield Company and the Mirkwood Estate don't always agree with their relationship. Will they be able to overcome their differences through many painful obstacles? The Hobbit and LOTR characters in a modern setting.
