But will this feeling last forever and will Petalite be able to survive in the harsh world they live in. Only time can tell.

The main characters of this story are Iris Agate and Phosphophylliye. Iris Agate has a hardness of 7 on the Mhos scale. Iris Agate is tasked with protecting and helping the young gem, Phosphophyllite with creating the schools encyclopedia. Phosphophyllite is a clumsy gem, that usually gets into trouble with everyone else in the school. Phosphophyllite has a hardness of 3.5 on the Mhos scale, meaning that they can break easily. Phosphophyllite who we'll call Phos mostly for the rest of this fanfic has a peppermint green gem color, while Iris Agate has a clear-rainbow ish gem color.
